# Managing DataSync access account

### **Overview**

You can use two types of accounts to access DataSync:

* **Root user account:** the [first account you create](https://register.vngcloud.vn/signup) to access GreenNode, with full access to all GreenNode resource services.
* **IAM user account (User account):** an account created from the single Root user account, with access permissions that depend on the access policies configured by the Root user account.
