# Stop a Transfer Job

You can stop any Transfer Job that is running or queued.

To stop a transfer job, follow these steps:

**Step 1:** Go to <https://datasync.console.greennode.ai/>

**Step 2:** In the left menu, select **Transfer Job**.

**Step 3:** From the transfer job list, select a **Transfer Job** that is running.

**Step 4:** Select the stop icon, or open the action menu and select the **Stop** action.

**Step 5:** Alternatively, open the transfer job details and select the stop icon in the **Latest run** section.

**Note:**

When you stop a Transfer Job, the DataSync system stops the transfer process. The run result of this transfer job is collected up to the moment you stop it, and the final status of this run becomes **Failed**.
