# Notification Settings

Configure email notifications on GreenNode: Stay up to date with every update

The Message Center helps you stay informed about important information regarding your GreenNode account and services. With this feature, you won't miss any notifications about system maintenance, service alerts, billing information, or the latest product updates.

Configuring email notifications helps you manage your account and services more proactively, ensuring your systems always run stably and efficiently.

### How to configure notifications

* **Step 1: Log in to GreenNode Console and select Usage Report:**
  * Go to the following link: <https://dashboard.console.greennode.ai/user-notification>
* **Step 2: Go to Notification Settings:**
  * On the main interface, find and select **'Notification settings'** in the left-hand menu, as shown below:

* **Step 3: Configure notification recipient email addresses:**

  * On the **'Message Center'** page, click **'Manage recipients':**

* **"Delete recipient":** Remove unwanted recipients from the list by clicking the "Delete" button

* **"Add recipient"**: Click the "Add recipient" button to add a recipient to the mailing list.

* **Name:** Enter a memorable name for the recipient.
* **Email address:** Enter the recipient's email address.
* Click **'Add'** to complete the process
* **Step 4: Assign each notification type to the corresponding recipients**
  * On the general settings page, find the notification type section and click **'Edit'**

  * Select recipients from the list, or add new ones directly from this screen.

  * Click **'Save'** to complete the process

**Note:**

* Newly added recipients have the status **'Inactive'**. The recipient needs to open the notification email to confirm the configuration (via the link provided in the email). Once confirmed, the status changes to **'Active'.**
  * The confirmation link sent by email **expires within 3 days** from the time the confirmation email is sent.
  * If it expires, you need to **'Delete recipient' and then 'Add recipient'** again to resend the email.
  * Recipients with 'Inactive' status will not receive any emails from the system
* Configured recipients will receive notification emails as **'cc'**.
* The system currently supports the following **notification types**:
  * **Product Expiration, Renewal and Bill Settlement Notifications**: Notifications related to resource expiration, auto-renewal, and invoice payment
